Pacquiao lost and he knew it right after the end of the last round, the first one to be surpriced that he won the fight was him. Ask him, he should give the belt to Marquez otherwise he would be as corrupt as the judges.

if you want to beat the tittle holder, or the greatest fighter, or the champion, you must attack him and KO him. not going backward and wait for him to attack then you counter, if he did not attack you did not counter how can you win you must be aggressor.
Being a counterpuncher like Marquez - the challenger can't beat Pacquiao unless Marquez did brought Manny in the canvas.. which was not happened in the past 3 encounters... in contrary to Marquez recorded 4 times. With that, I may say Marquez did improved but not enough to beat Manny.

the people who thinks marquez won the fight are so sure as if marquez bombarded pacquiao with punches and pacquiao just stand there and absorb it, be real, there were few significant actions in the fight, less action than 2 previous fight , landed a few punches here and there .....and that was it .......pacquiao wins this one .

Problem with compubox is it still has human input, in other words, there's plenty of room for human "error."
By the way, Marquez was the more aggressive fighter by remaining the more intelligent fighter. Just because you move forward doesn't make you aggressive, I saw Marquez take more risks. He knee how to wait and decide when to be aggressive. You can't go out guns-blazing and shouldn't have to to be considered the more "aggressive" fighter.

All throughout the history of boxing judges will always award the fight to the aggressor not to a joto and crybaby marquez, marquez did not show enough to convince the judges that he deserve to win. Defeating a champion takes a lot more than that. Marquez has a longer history in boxing than pacquiao and yet marquez cannot achieve the same status as pacquiao. Boxing fans wants to see action in the ring not the actions of marquez' mouth . Boxing fans are a lot smarter now, they would pay only for a good show and that is why pacman is so succesful. For me, Pacquiao won!!! I thought it should have been a draw when i watched it live. But if you watch it again, in slowmo, Marquez kept backing up and waits for manny to attack so that he can counter punch. Yeah he had clean shots but not to the point that manny will give up. Pacquiao can take punches and it's not easy to knock him down. if Marquez is a real warrior he should have been more aggressive + attacking + pressuring him and try for a knockout. But he didn't even try, he only waits for the right timing and get more clean shots to look good and he was avoiding any knockdown, cause he knew he would lose forever if he touches the canvas. That’s why he wasn't like in 2004 and 2008, more aggressive.
You remember Pacquiao-Cotto's fight??? Cotto was aggressive in the first few rounds, then in the late rounds, Cotto started to back up and he couldn't take manny's punches anymore and he got knocked down twice as well with a t.k.o. that's how a warrior should get a championship title. go the extra miles... if manny was not aggressive in that fight and was just waiting for Cotto to attack to counter him, then Pacquiao would have lost for sure. Come on, Cotto was the world champion at that time. To beat a champion you have to show it not only by how accurate you can punch, but how far you can go to get the title. Also if you see with all his opponents afterwards, they all backed up from Pacquiao's punches except for, i would say Margarito. That’s probably why he had a broken orbital bone lol.
With Marquez you don't see Pacquiao backing up. also you can see Pacquiao going in and out to avoid punches even though he got caught with some good shots from Marquez. But still great footwork from manny Pacquiao, he can be in 3 places in 2 seconds. i think Pacquiao expected a toe to toe fight. That’s why he got frustrated for not giving Marquez a knockout.
Marquez is a very good fighter against Pacquiao but clean shots doesn't mean you'll become a world champion. in my opinion, he should show more than clean punches (like double up or increase more punches than Pacquiao to have higher stats than manny or disfiguring manny's face for a t.k.o or pressuring Pacquiao in the last rounds and make him run or at least one knockdown during the fight), then i would have gave that win to Marquez.
Pacquiao is not just a normal world champion in one division only but in eight divisions. so to beat manny with just landed shots and not being aggressive won't make the challenger a champion.

Coming into this third fight Pacquiao floored marquez 4 times, 3 in the first 1 in the second meeting,this 4 knockdowns still gives Pacquiao the upperhand, How many times did Marquez floored Pac, none not even his best shots could topple Pac. Marquez couldn't take Pacman's power that's why his strategy was clear in this third fight "Never Engage Manny Pacquiao". Clear crisp shots counts 60-53 for Manny,I think you should learn how to count first before writing an article. compubox also showed Manny throwed and connected more punches than dinamita, Also Pac was the aggresor all through the fight He even paused I think in round 5 because Marquez's strategy was clear "to counterpunch", Pac just couldn't let the show be boring bcoz of the fans.
