Chanting "Manny, Manny."

Intro and tale of the tape.

Brandon Rios entrance segment to the ring is now on.

Chanting again for Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao is now entering.

Entrance song for Manny Pacquiao is Roar by Katty Perry. Yeah, can you believe it?

Michael Buffer is making introduction. Let's get ready to rumble.

Chanting Pacquiao once again.

Round 1: Pacquiao left hand to the body. Pacquiao landing a couple of combinations. Pacquiao’s jab and left hand are landing early. Rios is down, but it was ruled a slip. A double left hand by Pacquiao. Rios going to the body. Tremendous left hand by Pacquiao. Body shot again.
Pacquiao won the round 10-9

Round 2:
This is turning into another Clottey fight. Turtling defense.

Pacquiao won the round 10-9

Pacquiao vs Rios Prediction Results - Pacquiao Wins

Pacquiao vs Rios Prediction Results - Pacquiao Wins - Today is the Manny Pacquiao vs Brandon Rios fight. A big event, huge. Manny Pacquiao, is coming off a devastating knockout loss. He’s also in his mid-30s now. He has been out of the ring for a year. Does he still have what it takes?

In his prime, fighters like Rios is a perfect match for Pacquiao. Manny eats for lunch forward fighters like Rios. Remember the Hatton fight? Remember Manny’s perfectly timed knockout? But those are now but a distant memory to the shade of what we’ve seen this couple of years. Where is the quick footed, dervish flashes of lateral movements, during the Bradley fight? Why would he walk right through a Marquez trapped, falling to the same mistake that Hatton has done?

Previous recent fights posed lingering questions: was he himself at the Bradley fight? In the Timothy Bradley fight, even though Pacquiao won the fight, Manny Pacquiao was lacking a certain amount of explosiveness that is emblematic of his style. In other words, Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley seems subdued. It didn’t seem like Manny Pacquiao that we all know and love. In his 4th bout with Marquez, before the knockout, Manny Pacquiao was hit with a punch that he didn’t see coming. He used to see most of the punches coming, especially those who hurt him. Is the energizer bunny fighter, the legendary great with unbounded stamina long gone?

There’s only one truly unbeaten champion in the chronicles of boxing, and that is aging. How does physical aging catch up with you? It starts to look like you’re just on your game. It’s almost imperceptible at first - It looks like you’re a little slower, the reflexes are not quite there, looks like you’re having an off night. Then suddenly the people around you started to notice that you’re having a lot of this moments. That the highlights of you as a young man exceed what you’re doing now. Fighters you used to blow over as a young man, who in your prime you could take for granted, suddenly start being competitive with you. Some of them, even looks like given the right circumstances, could beat you.

Then there’s the devastating knockout that Pacquiao suffered from Marquez. Can he recover from a loss like that, can anyone? When Pacquiao was dazed on the canvas, he’s not looking around, wandering where he is. No, Pacquiao is not even conscious, he’s out of the ring, out there somewhere. The knockout was so bad that even casual spectators are shocked at the ferocity of the spectacle.

Manny Pacquiao's forte has always been his in and out movement. An offensive maestro, he has mastered the perfect angles on how to close the distance on fighters who have much slower foot. Rios likes to get close to setup his shots, but unfortunately he lacks the foot speed to be effective against a fighter like Pacquiao. Yes, even though Pacquiao is now older, a shade slower, he still has enough brilliance in his in him to take Rios to school. The real question is, when Rios is softened up, does Pacquiao have enough killer instinct to finish Rios once and for all?

Pacquiao vs Rios Weigh In Video

Pacquiao vs Rios Weigh In Video - Asides from Brandon Rios imitating the Hulk Hogan stance, putting his palm beside his ear, when some fans booed him, it was a fairly standard Pacquiao weigh-in. As the cliché goes, this is not Pacquiao’s first rodeo. He has been here before, and what we’ve seen here, is his usual physique and confidence. Pacquiao weighed in at 145 pounds, with a body that seems to defy aging. While Rios is just a shade under the 147 pounds limit, coming in at 146.5 pounds.

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Episode 3 Finale Full Video

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Episode 3 Finale Full Video - Months have turned weeks and now days. And the back and forth between both sides of Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios this Saturday night has intensified.

The trip to Los Angeles, California to Macao totals nearly 17 hours in the air. For his westward journey to the Far East, Brandon Rios appeared relaxed, and was easily charmed by the cabin amenities. The experience might have been novel, but the methods of passing the final hours were perhaps predictable.

Flight 807, touchdown to Macao at 10:45 Am., local time. And immediately the boxer found himself transformed. The kid from Garden City is most certainly not in Kansas anymore. A hundred 30 miles west across the sea from Hong Kong, Macao for nearly 500 years, a Portuguese colony, before being transferred back to Chinese authority in 1999. In the year since, its tourism industry has boomed. Turning it into the largest gambling center in the world, and one of its richest cities. The fight is being held at the enormous Venetian Macao Resort Hotel. A sprawling property on which a boxing gym has been erected for both camps to use. By far, Pacquiao Rios is the biggest ever to be held in China.

Though the fight air at Saturday night in the United States, it will be Sunday morning in Macao. An irregularity that has to be accommodated for. In the form of early morning workouts.

1300 miles Southeast, on another sunny morning on General Santos City, Jinkee Pacquiao is headed to the airport for the eagerly anticipated reunion. Her children who attend a private school in Manila are returning home for a brief visit for their father’s bout with Rios. Their first time home since super typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines earlier this month. The Pacquiao’s has four children 12 years old Manny junior, eleven years old Michael, seven years old Princess, and four years old Queenie. At the breakfast table each of them knows the stake rounding Saturday’s fight.

[…a brief glimpse of the 12 rounds of sparring with 3 different fighters: Dan Nazareno Jr., Liam Vaughan, and Zou Shiming ]

Even when they go well, rehearsals like today means only so much. Particularly, considering what ended Pacquiao’s last trip to the ring. The punch he never saw coming. Preparing for that is an endless process. As much mental as physical. As much about focus as ability. But with regards to what can be seen. The camp is completely assured.

[…Rios workout in Macao…. Skirmish Roach and Ariza.]

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Episode 2 Full Video

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Episode 2 Full Video & Transcript - It’s been roughly a week since super typhoon Haiyan ravaged the central islands that makes up the Philippines. There are no comparisons to be made in sports in times like this. They hardly relevant, and hardly on the minds of the masses of people who have lost virtually everything. But Manny Pacquiao is perhaps one of the Philippines most famous citizen. Which means people here pay attention to what he saids.

“A lot of people died for that storm, I want to help them. I dedicate this fight to them. I’m praying for you guys. May God bless you,” Pacquiao said.

General Santos City is in the most southernmost tip of the Philippines. It was one of the few areas in the country not hit by last week’s devastating storm. Under bright blue skies, almost eerily life continues here largely normal. Including downtown, on San Miguel Street, where training starts at 2pm. And while this is usually oceans away from Manny Pacquiao’s usual Hollywood, California headquarters. The name of the gym door is familiar.

Freddie Roach arrived in General Santos more than a month ago, to begin preparations. And immediately, any lingering doubts following his fighter’s last bouts were quelled.

Most of the faces surrounding Pacquiao in the gym are familiar. Along with the trainers there are longtime assistant Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri. New to the camp is Roach’s latest pupil, two time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming. Notably absent is Alex Ariza, Pacquiao’s strength and conditioning coach for the past 5 years, who was exiled over the summer.

With the Rios bout approaching, camp Pacquiao appears copasetic. And while some observers has suggested that training at home where Pacquiao also serve as congressman might have been a distraction, the fighter has made sure that all his attention is in one place.

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Episode 1 Video & Transcript

Pacquiao vs Rios 24/7 Video & Transcript - In the sport of boxing nothing is more universally celebrated than relentlessness. A fighter who instigates the action, who insists upon an unyielding pace of exchange, will find himself applauded and admired wherever he goes. A fighter who does this victoriously will discover what’s it’s like to ascend from man to legend. But none of this to say, relentlessness comes without risks.

It’s been almost a year since Manny Pacquiao awoke on the floor of the ring in Las Vegas. As shocked as anyone from the blow that has be felled him, as I’m sure is anyone, what would come next. The resolution that has turned out will have elements of the recognizable. A challenger whose style of combat is just as furious, as the Filipinos. Even if his personality will never be regarded as anything close to statesmanlike.

“That one Mexican has knocked him out. This Mexican-American will retire Pacquiao,” said Rios.

In a setting that is attributed to the globalization of his stardom. For a champion intent on restoring his supremacy out of the ashes of surprise. In a matchup that should demonstrate that universal appeal of relentlessness. This is 24/7 Pacquiao Rios.

On a hazy morning this past July, Manny Pacquiao took a short plane ride from his hometown Philippines to Macau, China. It was a first stop of the international press tour to promote the fighter’s bout November 23rd with Brandon Rios. Macau, a tourist and gambling mecca of the pro river delta will be where the fight will take place. Pacquiao first fight in nearly a year.

“I’m happy to be back in boxing again. This is a big opportunity for us to fight here in Macau. And it’s very close to the Philippines. I’m expecting that more Filipinos than Mexican people are going to watch,” said Pacquiao.

While not as well-known as his opponent, Brandon Rios has his set of ring credentials. He’s a former lightweight champion, with just one lost on his record. But on the day of his legendary opponent, the bright lights has the normally self-assured Rios a bit off his game.

“First off all, I’m very nervous. This is my first big show I’ve ever done, and I’m like nervous. I’m not nervous about the fight, I’m nervous about being in front of all you people,” said Rios.

For Pacquiao, over the last decade, this kinds of settings has become routine. But the Rios tour has coming nearly a full year after his previous promotional obligation. His fourth meeting with his long-time rival Juan Manuel Marquez. Following a draw, and two controversial Pacquiao victory, this was a fight to give a decisive addendum to their trilogy.

[… Recap of Pacquiao vs Marquez 4.]

About a month after the Marquez bout, Pacquiao underwent a series of physical and neurological tests. He was medically cleared to fight. As has more time has passed, the memories of the frightening scene has softened.

“After the [Marquez] fight, he always watch the replay. He said ‘Oh, I got hit hard.’ And then I told him ‘Yeah.’ Cause if you saw the picture… Sometimes we joke about the knockout,” said Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee.

“You have to understand that this is sports. Not all the time you win, sometimes you lose,” Pacquiao said.

But even if he’s philosophical about his adversity. The reality remains that it has been two years, since his hands was raised in victory. And at age 34, in the 18th year of his pro career, the question lurks. Could Manny Pacquiao’s best days in the ring be behind him?

“My career in boxing is not done yet,” said Pacquiao, “If you don’t want to lose then don’t box, don’t fight. I’m not thinking ’Oh in my next fight, I’m going to be scared because I’m going to be hit again. No, I’m not thinking about that,” said Pacquiao.

Brandon Rios Greatest Hits Video

Brandon Rios Greatest Hits Video - Fighting out of the boxing hotbed of the Oxnard, California Brandon Rios has made a name for himself with an aggressive come forward approach, and iron chin and an offensive mindset that makes him one of the entertaining fighters of the sport. A fan friendly approach in two epic battles with Mike Alvarado and one that Rios will put on display in his pay per view showdown with Manny Pacquiao on November 23. Let’s take a look at some of Brandon Rios Greatest Hits.

Brandon Rios vs Anthony Peterson, September 11, 2010

Unbeaten lightweight prospect Rios facing fellow American Anthony Peterson. Peterson controlled the early action, behind his jab, but Rios was able to close the distance applying pressure in rounds 3 and 4.

“This are such hard punch being exchanged. A combination in the middle of the ring. Combination backed him up. Rios goes to the body. He is back on his heels. Getting hit with a left hook. Upper cut, right combination. Left hand, Peterson is hurt,” said the commentary.

Peterson abandoned his jab, willing to fight at close range, and left himself open in round 5.
“Left hand drops Peterson. A counter left hand from Rios. First time Peterson has been down as pro. A left hand from Rios did it,” said the commentary.

In round 6, a frustrated Peterson was warned for low blows. But the warnings didn’t bring an end to the fouls. Peter was disqualified because of successive low blows. Rios with a victory.

Brandon Rios vs Omri Lowther, November 13, 2010

A bout with Omri Lowther, originally scheduled for December, was moved up on days’ notice.

“Rios trying to dig to the body. Gets in a couple of shots there. Lowther with a hook upstairs. Rios walks through everything Lowther throws, and keeps the pressure on,” said the commentator.

The Lowther shots has zero impact on Rios, who controlled the pace throughout.

“He cut the ring off, by his opponent. A lot of pressure. That’s a tremendous shot by Rios. That has wobbled Lowther. Rios hits upstairs to the body now cleanly and effectively. Lowther has no legs and the referee is going to stop the fight,” said the commentator.

Brandon Rios has another victory, to move to 26, 0, and 1.

Brandon Rios vs John Murray December 3, 2011

Rios missed making weight for his fight with England’s John Murray and was stripped of his lightweight belt. As Rios looks sluggish early, Murray try to take advantage.

“Good start. 3rd round now by John Murray. Quick shots to the body. Only natural that Murray’s confidence will begin to arise, as Rios punch output begins to drop. Rios trying to take command again now. He’s back Murray into a corner. Uppercuts of bloody flurry nose again.”

The relentless uppercuts wore down Murray heading down to the later rounds.

“The steam is coming down to Murray punches. This has happened to every Brandon Rios opponent. As the fight wears on. What an uppercut show, Rios is putting on. Sometimes throw five six uppercuts in a row,” said the commentators.

While Murray bravely try to throw back, the sustained punishment from Rios was too much to overcome.
“Referee needs to take a closer look. Murray is taking a lot of shots to the head of this fight. And he’s going to stop it there. And what a performance by Brandon Rios. TKO for Brandon Rios in the 11th round. ”

Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado - October 13, 2012

Rios moved up to a 140 lbs. to clash with undefeated Mike Alvarado. Fight fans hope that the match ups with Rios and Alvarado would create combustion. That wish was fulfilled immediately.

“Rios stepped in with a left hand on the chin of Alvarado. Oh another left hand, right on the button. Bombs away. Rios and Alvarado… Rios is finding so far that those shots don’t have the same effect as the big guys as it did on the lightweight. They definitely don’t. Oh, what an uppercut by Alvarado. Rios just eats it, and keeps coming forward,” said the commentator.

The taller, longer Alvarado seem to have the advantage entering the middle rounds.

“Wow, the head of Rios snapping back and forth with the punch of Alvarado. This is brutal. They’re both throwing big, knockout shots. Not power shots in name, but in force. Rios in a bit of trouble. Alvarado let the power punches go. Now it’s time for Rios to go to work. Mano a mano. Oh, my goodness,” said the commentators.

By round 6, Rios begin finding his range.

“Chopping left by Rios, Alvarado answers back. Couple short left by Rios. Good combination right hand by Rios. Big right hand by Rios. I think for the first time someone is hurt. Another right hand from Rios,” said the commentators.

[…instructions from Rios coach]

“Incredibly none of the guys is down. Right hand over the top. It was a lazy jab from Alvarado. Rios shoot that right. Alvarado eats a left. Another right hand rocks Alvarado. Right hand again. And referee steps in and stops it. Win number 31. A win unlike any other.”

Following the thrilling Rios TKO win, the calls for a rematch was immediate. And Rios confirmed it.
“The fans want it. If they want it, I want it. Let’s do it again.”

Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado 2 – March 30, 2013

Five months later the rematch was on. And it quickly looks just as explosive as the first fight.

“Rios with that elbow to elbow defense. Wants to plow forward, go to the inside. Wobbles Alvarado with that shot. A jumping hard jab rocked Alvarado. Rios is just coming. Now, they’re trading shots again. Here we go. Here we go. Oh, he hurt Brandon. Knees buckled. Rios almost went down. Alvarado was hurt early, Rios was hurt early. And it still early.”

The middle rounds were more of the same. Alvarado has success boxing from the outside, while Rios tries to pressure.

“Good uppercut by Alvarado, and another right hand down the pipe. One, two, three, four from Mike Alvarado. Oh, good body shots by Brandon. Great uppercut for Rios backing Alvarado up. Another hard uppercut. Right hand for Rios. Alvarado fires back with a right and a left. Brilliant stuff.”

Alvarado’s improved movement and boxing prove the difficult puzzle for Rios to solve. Alvarado’s right hand became the story.

“There’s a hard right hand by Alvarado. What a shot. Another big right hand. Another big right hand for Alvarado as Rios comes back with a left. What a fight. Great right hand. How many right hands like that can Rios take? He is trying his best to give Brandon Rios out of here, and Brandon refuses to go. ”
In a classic battle that lived up to the first meeting, Rios comes up short. Alvarado won a unanimous decision.

Pacquiao vs Rios - Mike Tyson Interview Video and Transcript

Pacquiao vs Rios - Mike Tyson Interview Video and Transcript - Mike Tyson was interviewed by HBO’s Jim Lampley on the upcoming Pacquiao fight. Here’s a video and transcript of their talk on what seems to be a Las Vegas location (it’s either a hotel or Tyson’s residence):

Jim Lampley: Do you see Manny, do you see a guy who is pushing the limit on how far he can go with boxing?

Mike Tyson: No, I think Manny Pacquiao has still a couple of years, still in him. No, because he took a sensational lost. So psychologically, if he has been beaten up by Marquez, then we have a problem. But if he took it as just another bad day at the office, then he can still make a lot in boxing.

Jim Lampley: He’s getting ready to take on Brandon Rios. Probably the most direct, hard charging coming forward in the sport. Is that an easy fight for Pacquiao to win because he has so much game, and Rios has only knows one thing to do?

Mike Tyson: It depends on the psychological condition of Pacquiao. Rios is just… Pacquiao when has on top of his game, he had so much movement, so much lateral movement. And a guy like this (Rios) is normally made for Pacquiao. We don’t know. Rios has a lot of spirit, and he comes across as a warrior when he fights. It’s going to be an exciting fight. Truly exciting.

HBO Face Off - Pacquiao vs Rios
Pacquiao vs Rios HBO Face Off Video and Transcript - On November 23rd, in Cotai Arena, at Macao China, is the return of global icon Manny Pacquiao. And he is in against one of the roughest, most exciting fighter in the business, Brandon Rios. But before they match up on that night, they face off.

Max Kellerman: Gentlemen, It’s been a long press tour, you’ve been all over the world, huh?

Brandon Rios: Yes, it has been very long.
Max Kellerman: He’s used to this sort of thing.
Brandon Rios: It’s my first rodeo. It’s okay.
Max Kellerman: What’s it been like?

Brandon Rios: It’s been great. It’s been awesome. It’s a different experience for myself. I don’t want to go back.

Max Kellerman: Go back to what?

Brandon Rios: Go back to what I was.

Max Kellerman: You feel like you’ve arrived?

Brandon Rios: I want to stay in this position.

Max Kellerman: How do you maintain this position?

Brandon Rios: First, I going to do, what I’m going to do in Macao. Fight one of the best pound for pound and be ready.

Max Kellerman: Manny you are famous at this point, coming off a big knockout loss, why choose a dangerous knock out fighter, for your first fight back?

Manny Pacquiao: I decided to choose an aggressive fighter like Rios, because I believe that I can prove to the people, that I can still fight, and my boxing career is not done yet. The most important thing is, I want to gain the trust and confidence of the fans.

Max Kellerman: Against Alvarado, and also Abril, it seems to me that in those fights, you got frustrated, that the guy wouldn’t fight you. But I didn’t see, is that you’ve done what you’ve always done, which is make something happen. Do more than you were doing at the time.

Brandon Rios: Everybody is thinking, oh Brandon is just a one dimension fighter. If a guy box him, he’s going to beat him easy. No, it’s not like that. It’s just people just want to run their mouth and say stupid thing. I can fight.

Max Kellerman: Is it okay, this one. It is an issue of turning it up another notch in terms of effort? Or is it an issue of technique that you have to apply?
Brandon Rios: It’s both. Technique and turning it up a notch. Because I’m fighting a top notch guy. I know what’s at stake.

Max Kellerman: I heard you say, that Marquez wasn’t the first knockout. The loss of your career, and you were able to come back. But you weren’t at this age at that point of your career. You haven’t made all the money, and you weren’t a global icon then that you are now. Do you ever question, to yourself if you still have it.

Manny Pacquiao: No. I never question my capability. My speed and power is still there.

Max Kellerman: What about the desire? Where do you get the desire to engage in this kind of brutal sport, considering what you’ve already accomplished?

Manny Pacquiao: I have 100 percent desire to continue my boxing career. All I can say is, my time is not done yet.

Brandon Rios: That’s what a lot of greats have said. A lot of greats have said that.

Max Kellerman: I’ve talked to fighters about fights like this. But usually those fighters, if you asked them, what they’re feeling before a fight is all kind of emotions. Fear and this and that. How do you feel? Do you have mixed emotions? Because it seems that the more violent the fight is, the more fun you have. Even if you that’s getting hit.

Brandon Rios: You enjoy what you’re doing. When you love boxing, I have passion for it. It’s not a job for me, it’s not a payday for me - it’s my passion. I’m enjoying it. For me, boxing is better than sex. That’s my orgasm!

Manny Pacquiao: (laughs)

Brandon Rios: I love this sports so much.

Max Kellerman: Is there something about sports that you love too? Sometimes I see you at fight, in the middle of the action, and I swear you get hit with a two piece and you have a smile on your face like your liking it.

Brandon Rios: Because you hit like a bitch. That’s what I feel. If you can’t hurt me… you better bring a bat or something. Cause I’m going to come. And what motivates me is I want to be the best. And I’m tired of people counting me out.

Manny Pacquiao: You want to be like me?

Brandon Rios: I don’t want to be like you. I want to be like Brandon. I’m tired of people counting me out. They are saying that this is a comeback (gesture to Manny), that I’m a punching bag. And that he’s going to fight Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao: You know what, I’m going to do what I have done in boxing also.

Max Kellerman: Who would want to do, what you’ve done in boxing.

Brandon Rios: …Everyone wants to be a great too. Everyone wants to be the king of boxing.

Max Kellerman: I think one of the prediction is that for as long as this last, this is going to be a tremendous fight. Is there anything you want to tell Brandon?

Manny Pacquiao: What I can say is, prepare 100%, train hard and don’t forget to pray to God because we can’t do nothing without God. That’s how I become successful in my life.

Brandon Rios: I’m ready. Pray for me all right. I’ll be in the best shape in my life. I’m coming 100 percent. Ready mentally and physically. I’m going to let you concentrate on being a congressman, I got to go there and retire you. I got to retire Manny Pacquiao…

Manny Pacquiao: (Smiles)

Brandon Rios: Because I’m the next star.

Max Kellerman: Gentlemen, thank you very much. I can’t wait for the fight. November 23rd.

Manny Pacquiao Interview Video - One Day after the Knock Out

Manny Pacquiao Interview Video - One Day after the Knock Out - GMA, one of the leading TV network in the Philippines, has released yet again an after Marquez video at their official YouTube channel. The morning news and talk show “Unang Hirit” (First Salvo/First Response) interviewed Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee. Jinkee was emotional after the Marquez 4 fight and is still evident during this interview. Manny Pacquiao is emotionally affected by his wife’s reaction. Arnold Clavio and Rhea Santos-De Guzman is the host for the show.

The video is in Tagalog (translated in English below)

Arnold Clavio: Friends, we are talking today to eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee Pacquiao. Good afternoon, congressman Manny and Jinkee.

Jinkee Pacquiao: Good morning.

Manny Pacquiao: Good morning there (looks at his wrist watch).

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Hi Manny, hi Jinkee.

Arnold Clavio: You first Manny, how are you? How’s your health?

Manny Pacquiao: I’m okay, I’m fine (smiles).

Arnold Clavio: Jinkee the world was shocked when they saw your reaction. How are you today?

Jinkee Pacquiao: I’m okay.

Arnold Clavio: What was going through your mind when you saw Manny in a bad situation inside the ring?

Jinkee Pacquiao: I was scared for what happened to him because it took him a while to get up.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Manny, Jinkee…

Manny Pacquiao: …yes?

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Our news source told us that you’ll be back on Wednesday. Will that continue? Do you have clearance from your doctor that you can travel?

Arnold Clavio: There’s no problem. I got out of the hospital after the checkup.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: As of this time, do you feel any pain?

Manny Pacquiao: None.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: That’s good.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Our news source told us that you still watched your fight with Juan Manuel Marquez? What can you say? Did you lack in your performance? Are you open? Or did you give all your best?

Manny Pacquiao: My preparation was not lacking. If you saw the fight, at the initial rounds, I was aggressive. My movement is fast up to the 6th round. And my movement is good [cough], but sometimes things happens.

Arnold Clavio: You didn’t really see the incoming punch Manny.

Manny Pacquiao: The reason is I was confident when I heard the last 10 seconds warning. I fake with him twice, I was outbalanced in the 2nd one, and he straight me.

[Manny and Jinkee speaks to their children briefly about personal life. Jinkee cries.]

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Friend, I want to find out the feelings of a wife and mother. Because we’re wife too, we can relate to Jinkee while we saw Manny is down. Jinkee, what was going through your mind at that point?

Jinkee Pacquiao: Fear. I was shaking, I didn’t know what happened. It’s the first time I saw him not get up. A boxer life is on the line… [Sobbing]… But thank God he’s okay that’s the most important thing. He’s okay, and the worst didn’t happen… [Crying]

Arnold Clavio: Manny, how do you alleviate the fear of Jinkee. What did you do and what did you say to her?

Manny Pacquiao: Thank God that I’m still breathing. [Smiles] And he saved me from harm.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Manny the world stops in the Philippines. Everyone was praying that you stand up. And finally, with God’s grace you stand up.

Manny Pacquiao: I didn’t know that I was upside-down. [Smiles]

[TV Anchors Laughs]

Arnold Clavio: Jinkee, Manny has upcoming fights. There seems to be an April fight, if it’s up to you, what’s your plan?

Jinkee Pacquiao: [Sobbing] Manny knows my answer. He knows what I want.

Arnold Clavio: Win or lose you’re with him.

Jinkee Pacquiao: Yes, of course… [Cries] I’m here for him. [Crying] I’ll take care of his children. [Cried and hugged Manny]

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Jinkee, you are an inspiration.

Arnold Clavio: [Jokes] Looks like there will be a 5th child.

Jinkee Pacquiao: [Sobbing] I’m too emotional when it comes to my husband. When my husband goes out, I sometimes couldn’t sleep because he might not return. [Crying]

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Manny maybe that deserve an answer, what do you have to say to Jinkee?

Arnold Clavio: Talk to him Manny.

Manny Pacquiao: I’m holding back the tears.

Arnold Clavio: Hug her.

Manny Pacquiao: [Comforted her]… It’s okay. Thank God. Thanks for the fans for the support… [Sniffing] … That’s really…

Arnold Clavio: Go ahead Manny. We will understand you Manny if you want to cry… That’s okay, it’s just sometimes… but like what we Filipino says, we’re with you when you’re on top, and we’re with you more now that you’re down.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: We’re very proud of you Manny and we love your family.

Arnold Clavio: You are still the champion in our hearts, no matter what happened yesterday.

Manny Pacquiao: [Wipe tears] I’m okay. To all the people who supported me, I want to make them happy. They are all sad now. I hope that there’s no problem, I accepted the defeat, that’s my job. When the time comes you have to accept defeat. But when I see the reaction of the people, the Filipinos, that many cried, especially a family who cries, it hurts me.

Rhea Santos-De Guzman: Manny, we’re not sad because we’re with you on Christmas. Thank you very much for making the Filipinos happy.
