Round 6 Knockout Video KO Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 Highlights - GMA, one of the leading TV network in the Philippines, has released in their official YouTube channel a news segment featuring the highlights of the Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 fight.
The words are in Tagalog (translated in English below).
TV Anchor: Friends, a dot was placed at the end of the decade long rivalry between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez on who is the king of the ring. At their fight in Las Vegas, Marquez knocked Pacman twice. The last one ended the fight.
Pacman was knocked out in 6th round and for a brief moment was unconscious. Based on the tally of boxrec.com, 1999 was the last year that Pacman got knocked out.
The breathtaking clash was witnessed by Chino Trinidad.
Round 1 by Chino Trinidad: At the beginning of the fight, our National Fist quickness was visible. It was somewhat a proof, on the promise, that he would return to his ferocious ways for his confrontation with someone who can be considered as one of his closest rival. Even this early, the National Fist punches connected.
Round 2 by Chino Trinidad: The bell hasn’t even rung yet, but Manny Pacquiao is already standing, rushing to a waiting Juan Manuel Marquez. Manny is still on the attack mode.
Round 3 by Chino Trinidad: The National Fist is still aggressive, while Dinamita was somewhat saving his strength. A minute before the end of round 3, something happened that was a surprise to all. For the first time in their long rivalry, Marquez knocked down Pacquiao using a strong right hook. Manny was counted but stood up and continued to fight. Instead of attacking and capitalize on his lead, Dinamita became cautious on attacking.
Round 4 by Chino Trinidad: The warriors exchange punches resembling a street fight. Pacquiao was like a soldier who became braver after the knockdown on the previous round. But the Mexican didn’t yield, who also poured on strong combinations.
Round 5 by Chino Trinidad: Pacquiao’s aggressiveness hasn’t change. Until the arrival of something that everyone was waiting for. Pacman released his killer left, and Marquez was shook. Manny got a knockdown revenge.
Round 6 by Chino Trinidad: Marquez was bloodied. His mouth was swelling after catching strong punches from the National Fist. Pacquiao capitalize on this, releasing combinations. What looks like a Marquez mouthpiece flew. The crowd at MGM Grand Arena shouted. Like they said, Pacquiao’s fierceness returned. At the sound of the last 10 second mark, both flurry.
A few seconds remaining, Manny was gearing up when all of a sudden… the National Fist landed on his forehead after catching a solid right from Dinamita. Manny couldn’t get up immediately. Jinkee was crying, wanting to be close to Manny. In that moment, a dot was placed at the collision of Pacquiao vs Marquez.
Round 6 Knockout Video Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 Highlights

Freddie Roach at Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 Post Fight Press Conference - Manny Pacquiao wasn't at the after fight press con because he was having a CAT scan at the hospital. The test thankfully came out negative. Freddie Roach was the one who answered the questions.
Here's a transcript of the q&a:
Reporter: Toe to toe, did you feel that was the best way to win?
Freddie Roach: It was our strategy, it was working very well. I thought we we’re in control of the fight. I thought we almost had him out. And he got a little careless.
Reporter: Freddie, It appears that in that round Manny was really busting him out. Looks like Marquez’s face was falling apart, his nose is broken. And then the knockout came so sudden in the final 10 second, where it just a shock that he never saw it coming?
Freddie Roach: Yeah, he never saw it coming. Manny was swinging wild, and he got caught. It was a great knockout.
Reporter: Just a quick question about Marquez’s power. Was Marquez punching now harder than he ever were?
Freddie Roach: I think he’s punching harder. He is well developed. The first knockdown caught Manny but it didn’t really hurt him badly. It was a pretty good shot. He’s very strong, very physical a lot more than before. I think his punching power was improved yes.
Reporter: Freddie, following up on that 3rd round knockdown on that big right hand from Marquez. What was your level of concern in the corner? Was Manny shaken up in the corner?
Freddie Roach: No, he wasn’t affected by that too much. He was fully recovered by the time he went back to the corner. Going out into the 4th Round he had no problem whatsoever.
Reporter: What should Manny do right now?
Freddie Roach: That’s a tough question. He has to settle down a bit. You know possible retirement, possible rematch. I’m not sure which way we’re going right now. It really depends on how we feels and what he wants to do. And if we do fight again, we go back to the gym, if I see good signs we go on and if I see bad signs we won’t.
Reporter: Many said it was a candidate to the fight of the year. To lose a fight of that caliber, why would you advise him to retire? With a shot he didn’t see? What makes you think retirement?
Freddie Roach: No, the thing I said is we’ll see. There’s a lot to swallow. I said if he’s back in the gym, I see signs of him declining, I’ll tell him to retire. But if I don’t see that, I won’t tell him to retire. I would like to get a rematch but is that the best move right away? Maybe try him out with a softer fight first? There are a lot of different things we have to think about. It’s very complicated. It’s not going to be overnight.
Reporter: I would like to know if you see any signs of degradation in this fight.
Freddie Roach: No, I thought he fought a great fight. He fights a very smart fight. But he walks into one, and it happens.
Reporter: Freddie, you think Marquez was setting up Pacquiao the whole time with the counter right?
Freddie Roach: Well, that’s his best punch against Manny Pacquiao. He does that a few times in a fight. And he definitely did it that time, yes. It wasn’t a lucky punch, he set up us well. I was really surprise that he pull that off, as hurt as he was, but he did.
Reporter: If Juan Manuel Marquez goes on to fight Tim Bradley, how would you rate that fight?
Freddie Roach: It is a very good fight. Bradley is a good boxer. It’s a great match.
Reporter: Given the streak that you had in the past year, you seeing Nacho as a rival. Emotionally, how does it feel to take this lost?
Freddie Roach: It sucks. I hate losing. If we do get a rematch or another fight, I’d get Manny Pacquiao again a 100 percent. Focus like he did this fight, we could win.
Reporter: Is this the end for Manny Pacquiao?
Freddie Roach: I don’t think so. I don’t think this is the end for Manny Pacquiao. He knows he made a mistake. He got careless, that happens in boxing. It’s not the first time he got knocked out. With a lot of hard work, I’m sure we’ll be fine.
Reporter: He was eating a lot of leather to the body. Did you expect him to attack that way?
Freddie Roach: I think we pretty much expect being cut. I didn’t expect him to be heavy handed as he was. His right hand hurt Manny a lot more this time than his past fights.
Reporter: Being that the strategy being aggressive. Where there was a point that he need to pull back?
Freddie Roach: Yeah. He got a little bit aggressive. He wasn’t using his feints and he just walk into him. He (Marquez) was back in the corner, and I thought the fight will not last much longer on our side.

Manny Pacquiao Interview After Marquez 4 Fight Video - Both Marquez and Manny Pacquiao was interviewed by Larry Merchant after the fight during the HBO broadcast of the fight. Here's what they said:
JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ Interview After Pacquiao 4 Fight
Larry Merchant: Congratulations on a great victory. Coming on to this fight, do you feel that he was vulnerable after the right hands that knocked him down?
Juan Manuel Marquez: No we needed to work on those points but I always said that the change in the rhythm was going to be important.
Larry Merchant: He came out…
Juan Manuel Marquez: (Gestures to Pacquiao)… good fight, good fight.
Larry Merchant: He came out very aggressive. So did you sense immediately I just have to be patient and counter him?
Juan Manuel Marquez: We knew he was going to come out aggressive so we needed do a fight plan that was a bit more technique. And we knew of what was going to happen, and we capitalize on it.
Larry Merchant: When you knock him down, the first time, did you say to yourself ’okay this is different now, I am the stronger guy in the ring.
Juan Manuel Marquez: Yes, we know that if we fought his way, we knew it was going to be a very difficult fight. But it wasn’t impossible to win.
Larry Merchant: But you are hurt very badly, or at least you are bleeding very badly. Did you sense you have to do something dramatic at that point?
Juan Manuel Marquez: We have to use our technique and our skill, and it’s very important to not allow Manny as he usually does.
Larry Merchant: When you went down from a straight left hand, did you feel… that was… I did something not right?
Juan Manuel Marquez: Yes it was an error we fought with my hand down. But after that we corrected.
Larry Merchant: I ask you before the fight, whether all of your new muscles would make a difference. Did the muscles made the difference?
Juan Manuel Marquez: I don’t think so, we work strength, and we work speed. And I mean you can see the good result.
Larry Merchant: Do you want or expect a 5th fight with Manny?
Juan Manuel Marquez: We’ll relax, we’ll talk with the family and we’ll see what comes.
Larry Merchant: Thank you for a great fight.
Juan Manuel Marquez: (shouts) Ariba Mexico! Ariba Mexico!
Juan Manuel Marquez: (shakes hands of Pacquiao) Again, again you are a great fighter.
MANNY PACQUIAO INTERVIEW AFTER THE MARQUEZ 4 FIGHT
Larry Merchant: Manny, after you suffer from the first knockdown earlier in the fight, you seem to be taking control. Did you get careless? Or did you think you got him?
Manny Pacquiao: Yes, I got careless on that fight. I think I got him but you know it’s not good.
Larry Merchant: Because he was so bloodied from your punches? Did you felt that was the time to finish him?
Manny Pacquiao: Yes, yes. I was so careless for the fight. That’s part of the fight.
Larry Merchant: Did you get hit with a punch that you never saw and you are out for a long time before you even knew it?
Manny Pacquiao: Exactly. I was overconfident. I thought I got him.
Larry Merchant: We have never seen you go down like that since your career in America, since you became such a force. I want you to look here and tell us what you see? (Plays knock out video) I assume you have not seen this yet.
Manny Pacquiao: Yes, I thought I got him.
Larry Merchant: So did it surprise you that despite the fact that you knocked him down, despite the fact that he was so bloodied, that he came back at you with such force.
Manny Pacquiao: Exactly, he is not an easy opponent. He is a tough boxer. I respect Marquez, not that easy fighter to beat. I did my best but that’s boxing, that’s the sport.
Larry Merchant: Did you get too aggressive?
Manny Pacquiao: No, I thought I got him in the early rounds but I got hit with a solid punch.
Larry Merchant: He hit you before, was he stronger or was it just he hits you with punches that you never saw coming?
Manny Pacquiao: I never saw his punch, never expected that punch.
Larry Merchant: I know it’s rather soon after you’ve been knocked down for the first time in a very, very long time. But you have another full time career back home as a congressman. Do you want to fight again? Do you want to fight him again?
Manny Pacquiao: Yes why not, it’s a good fight. I was just starting, I was overconfident on that fight because I thought I got him.
Larry Merchant: So you’re saying to us, that you want to see a 5th fight with Marquez?
Manny Pacquiao: (laughs) Well, if they gave us a chance, we’ll fight again.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 Who Wins? Winner Result?
UPDATE: Marquez Wins! Knockout Pacquiao KO!
Female anchor: Who wins and why?
Teddy Atlas: You know what? That’s the wrong question.
Female anchor: Tell me, tell me what it is?
Teddy Atlas: The right question is who gets the decision? I think the guy who wins is the man who won the last two times. I mean that’s Juan Manuel Marquez. But with this corrupt and incompetent judges that have been around in my business unfortunately for a long time. Do they finally give it to the right guy? That’s the question. The first one is a draw and the last two fights is obviously a decision for Pacquiao. I think Marquez won those last two fights.
Stephen A. Smith: Teddy I need you to look at your right to Skip Bayless. And skip, I need you to remind of Teddy what I’ve been telling you. I told Skip that Marquez won the last fight. Marquez will probably win this fight by decision, only to have the judges rob him, and give it to Pacquiao. It wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Skip Bayless: Did you say probably? Why don’t you go out on your limit and say definitely.
Stephen A. Smith: Well, I can’t say definitely that the judges are going to rob somebody, even though I believe that to be the case. But I definitely believe that Marquez will outbox Pacquiao. He will win by decision. But they will give the decision to Pacquiao. I believe that.
Stephen A. Smith: Like I said, the question is not whose going to win. Who’s going to get the decision with these judges? I’m hoping that if Marquez win again, that he actually gets it, the judges should do their job. These fighters have done a good job. The judges haven’t done a good job.
Female anchor: In your gut, will the judges do the right thing, in your opinion?
Teddy Atlas: Look, you guys talk about the NBA a lot. And last week you got Povovich, the great coach of the Spurs. You got a situation where he rested these guys and they came down very heavy on ‘em. They said that they were hurting the integrity of the league by not playing those 3 guys. Why did they do that? Because there is a commission to police basketball. There is not national commission to police boxing. There’s nobody there to make sure that judges that get it wrong are never in that position to hurt fighters again. My sport needs a national commission. And I’m damn tired of it.
Stephen A. Smith: Amen.
Teddy Atlas: And we will continue to have fighters who will be robbed when they shouldn’t be robbed.
Female anchor: What do you think of the decision?
Skip Bayless: Okay, I’m gonna have to disagree with a man I respect a lot Teddy. My eyes told me that Pacquiao (and I’m a Pacquiao supporter), I thought he won the last two fights fair and square. I thought that the greatest robbery that I’ve seen in any sport was the Bradley fight. If you want to talk robbery I think we all agree that even Stephen A agree with me when we are at the NBA finals (remember that), that was flat out robbery. I still don’t get it.
Stephen A. Smith: Well, no question.
Teddy Atlas: Look whether you leave in the bag with a truck and taken everything out, or whether you’ve taken just a few bags of money out, it still robbery. Maybe in the case of Marquez and Pacquiao, there was only a couple of bags of money taken out, not the whole bricks of truck. But it still robbery.
Skip Bayless: Okay, I respect that. But I’m here to remind you. Marquez is now 39 years of age. Are you telling me Pacquiao is done?
Teddy Atlas: That’s a good point. One thing I’m worry about is that Marquez suddenly gets old. Even though he’s as closer to 40 as he’s ever been in his life now. That is a concern. And he dissipated a little bit in the stretch in the last fight. He slowed down, and that can be age, but I don’t see him as a used up guy, I don’t see him as a spent guy. If that happens when he gets in the ring, all bets are off, and he becomes an old man. Put that aside, I think he always does what he always does. He will find a way to negate the faster guy. There’s no doubt faster is a lot faster.
Skip Bayless: Faster and stronger.
Teddy Atlas: But timing and counterpunching and intellect.
Skip Bayless: He’s got all that. It’s a great match up.
Teddy Atlas: That can negate physical talents that Pacquiao has. And Marquez has done it before. And I expect him to do it again. And one other reason, the mental part. You know this business, 75% mental, so when you look at that. Marquez has more reason, more urgency because of his legacy. This is about his legacy. From a mental standpoint, from an emotional standpoint there’s more on the line for him that it is for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is a congressman, he’s an actor, he’s a singer, and he’s all those things. He’s got a lot of things going in his world. For Marquez, it’s all about this decisions before he goes off into the sunset. It’s about the rest of his life.
Skip Bayless: I’m telling you that it’s the same exact psychology for Pacquiao right now. You think he wants to go out with two straight losses and to no Mayweather fight. It’s hanging in the balance.
Teddy Atlas: He’s an icon in his country. It takes a little bit of the pain that Marquez will feel. Marquez will feel the full pain.
Skip Bayless: I will give you this - Manny Pacquiao’s heart has not been in his five last fights. To me he’s threading water, waiting for the guy who’s running from him right now who is Floyd “Money” Mayweather. He’s done everything he can. He came on our show and said hey I’ll blood test, I’ll needle test, day of the fight right after the fight, I’ll give him 55 percent of the purse, let’s do it now. And “Money” (makes a chicken sound), keeps running away from him, and it’s driving him nuts. And now he’s been called by his own coach, saying well maybe we’re close to being done here. Maybe he’s heart is not in it. Remember he cleans up his life. He took out all his vices out of his life. He’s been faithful to his wife for the last couple of years. Spiritually he’s changed.
Teddy Atlas: No you think he has.
Skip Bayless: Well, Freddie has been talking about it all week, saying (well, all due respect to Manny’s wife) I kind of wish he would go back to his vices because I am not seeing the same fighter anymore. He’s lost that edge that he has. And I say because he’s sick and tired of waiting for Money Mayweather to come to the table for Money.
Teddy Atlas: That’s a poor excuse. I think there’s dissipation, I agree with you, from a mental and emotional, not from a physical standpoint, at 33 he’s not used up. But where it comes is there’s not the same urgency. He made so much money. He’s so safe in his country. Even though he can’t sing a note, people give him money. He’s got acting career there. I don’t think he has the same urgency, to have that fire, to do the extra things that hungry fighters do. Marquez, I’m not saying he is as hungry as he was 10 years ago, but he’s hungrier than Pacquiao.
Skip Bayless: So you think Pacquiao is virtually done as a fighter?
Teddy Atlas: I don’t think that he’s virtually done. From a physical standpoint he’s got the speed, a good puncher, the guy that fits in with anybody. He’s a guy that can win on a given night. I just don’t think that he’s on the elite level. When the difference is just so slight (when it is so little). When it comes down to doing those little extra things, I don’t think that you can count on him to do those extra things. Again, there’s not the urgency in his life that it used to be.
Skip Bayless: Bottom line, back to your original question (gesture to female anchor). I think Pacquiao will knock out Marquez. He’s going to make a statement. And I’m waiting for you Floyd, right here, right now. That’s what I think is going to happen.
Teddy Atlas: That’s not the greatest prediction. He (Pacquiao) already has him (Marquez) on the floor four times. Marquez stung him in the 2nd fight, and he’s been on a weight program. He’s a little bigger, a little stronger. Maybe that helps me more mentally as much as it helps him physically. But again, Marquez, if the judges don’t rob him again, is going to take the fourth fight.
Skip Bayless: Okay, Stephen A, you on the record, you think he wins the decision?
Stephen A. Smith: I think he (Marquez) wins the decision, in the eyes of the people, and gets rob by the judges. We’ll see.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 24/7 Episode 3 HBO Full Episode Video - Manny Pacquiao delayed his Wild Card Gym training for two weeks because of political obligations which is seen by some as one of the many distractions in the life of Pacman. His coach Freddie Roach is relieved to see star pupil on his gym at last. Roach wanted the old Manny back, the Pacquiao who has aggressive knockout instincts.
Contrary to Pacquiao, Marquez is without distractions. With two weeks left, he is near the peak of his training focusing on his speed and accuracy. Ever the tactician, Juan visualizes fighting Pacquiao, playing the scenarios in his head. They cut off before the sparring sessions, wary of their strategies leaking on the Internet. Marquez after sparring went to a therapy where they put cups on your body.
Manny Pacquiao appears on the Jimmy Kimmel Live for the 7th time. Jimmy Kimmel asked him that giving up his vices might be the cause of his lost in his recent fight. Pacquiao laughed. A comedy skit featuring Pacquiao wanting to fight a Mexican overweight who eludes him for the nth time.
Marquez is speed training with his new trainer. He is focused for sure.
The episode ends with a focus on both the trainers. Roach is still leering from past three fights which all ended in a lost. He really needed this win to prove that he still got it. Nacho, on the other hand, gave up smoking and started exercising because he nearly died from contracting pneumonia. Both coaches live for the fight. Boxing is what keeps them going.

“I said am I in boxing? What is… what sport is this? I’ve been in boxing for 21 years and it’s my first time to encounter that… on that one sided fight,” Manny said in disbelief.
Flashback: Pacquiao talking to Coach Freddie Roach at the after-Bradley dressing room. Chortling about what happened. His mother is exasperated at the bad decision in a Philippines TV interview.
“What do I need to prove to Bradley?” Pacquiao said.
