People close to Manny Pacquiao was interviewed. "I was on a cruise, and half the crews were Filipinos, and I was the big celebrity on-board because they know I was Manny's promoter," said promoter Bob Arum.
The 29 year old Pacquiao was in San Francisco to promote his upcoming fight, the Pacquiao Marquez Rematch. "We prepared for this fight, I learned more since the first one," said Manny.
"The big thing is he has two hands now," said trainer Freddie Roach, "the first fight, if you watch it, he had straight left all night long. He has great success with it early in the fight but Marquez is a smart fighter. But now, the right hand, the jab, the hook is really coming along and he's a more complete fighter now."
The Pacquiao Marquez Rematch Open Workout attracted droves of admiring fans. "I think he's one of a kind," said local Filipina boxer Ana Julatan.
The coverage ends with reporter Rick Quan saying that if Pacquiao beat Marquez, he'll move on up the weight, and take on lightweight champ David Diaz.
