Manny Pacquiao wants World Boxing Association super featherweight champion Edwin Valero for his next fight.

The unbeaten Venezuelan Valero holds a record of 22 knockouts. The US banned Valero to fight because of a failed MRI test performed on him in New York in 2004. Valero sustained head injuries during a motorcycle crash in 2001.

He that wants to stay at 130 pounds even for one fight to accommodate Valero's repeated challenges. He told them that he really wants to fight Valero in response to a challenge by Vallero himself. The fight if ever it comes will be set on February next year.
