   there are always excuses in boxing. if cotto wins, pac fans will say it's because he's too big. if pac wins, cotto fans will say pac just got lucky. but if we're going to talk about excuses, pac has heard all of them. he was an underdog against de la hoya, who is bigger and stronger, when de la hoya lost, their excuse was that he was already too old. with hatton who is supposed to be yet another stronger opponent, he got dropped twice on the first round.
   
   you see, strength means nothing in boxing if you can't find your target. people who keeps on siding on the bigger and stronger boxer usually knows nothing with boxing. speed and accuracy is more important in this sport.

   Someone said it's all to do with win/loss record, THAT is the stupidest thing I have ever heard... I can think of 100's of fights where an undefeated fighter lost to someone with 5 or 6 losses... COMEON!! There are plenty of reasons why Cotto could beat Pac, none of which are because Pac has more losses than him...

   ok guys, weigh in is finish, we all know that pacman gains weight to meet the weight limit, on the other hand, cotto looses weight to meet the weight limit, and pacman weighs 144 and he look a trainer from a rugby team, his muscles are tight and look strong, on the other hand, cotto, he looses weight, you can see the excess skin falling on his face, he look like he didn't eat for how many days and men, his body is so skinny for a big fighter, i saw the fight when he fought cotley, mosley, and judah, he is in his weight class..and men he is in good shape at time, yeah, they can talk about firepower of cotto at that weight category, but, when i saw him in the weigh in last night, i dont think that he can still punch like the way he punch cotley in the first round and knock cotley out with a jab, for me, probably cotto will win this fight if he will land a solid punch to pacman's chin, but, pacman is a southpaw, and he got speed and not only speed, he got power to knock his opponent out..pacman will win through speed, accuracy, power, fighting style and stamina...pisti giatay ay...pista ka cotto...lol

   if cotto did not work on his foot speed then he's going to have a tough night. i can only see cotto landing one or two punches on manny but i don't think his combos are going to land. i believe manny has the plan to negating cotto's big left hand since he showed it in the oscar and hatton fight. overall i believe many style speed and accuracy will put cotto on the canvas!
