Miguel Cotto Eager to Fight Manny Pacquiao

Miguel Cotto Eager to Fight Manny Pacquiao - Joe Santiago stressed that the transfer of Miguel Cotto in Tampa, Florida, has been beneficial for the boxer.
Miguel Cotto and his team cares little that the general consensus is that Manny Pacquiao is favored to beat the night of November 14.
Instead, coach Eric Morel, Joe Santiago, Cotto said he would silence his critics.
"Michael uses the perception that Pacquiao is the favorite to work harder. Miguel has the hunger and desire to show that it is one of the best fighters in the world. This has been in the past and will do so again against Pacquiao," Santiago said yesterday during a conference call from Tampa, Florida.
He stressed that an impressive victory over Pacquiao would remove any doubt exists about the potential for Cotto on the biggest stages.
"In June this year against (Joshua) Clottey, Miguel showed that he has a big heart and I have no doubt he will again. Michael is at the time and anxious to get the fight night to show the world what he can do in the ring," noted Santiago.
During the fight against Clottey last June, it became clear that there was a lack of coordination at the corner of Cotto. However, Santiago said they have worked diligently to correct the deficiencies so that history is not repeated on 14 November.
"The corner was too narrow and there were many people in the corner, but we have more time working as a team and this time Joe Chavez has been with us, which allowed us to better match," said Santiago.
"We are all the time thinking about the welfare of Michael and work to get out the door wide against Pacquiao," he said.
The novice coach said he was pleased with the stage that is his ward, who will remain in Tampa for another two weeks.
"They have achieved all the goals we set for ourselves. It was a work plan and so far everything has gone to the letter. We know it will be a fight really hard for Miguel," he said.

Does he look tired or hurt?
tumbuk c cotto
well...the reason I asked was because to me he look like he's hurt and wanted to know other people's opinion....and BTW I'm mexican and proud of mexican boxers but I've never been so fascinated over a boxer before like I'm with Pacquiao. Peace !
I hope Cotto's not this slow come fight night. He'll be in big trouble if he does.
Pacquiao is the best
is not about how fast u can hit the mits but accurately...and god knows how long into this session is this video taking place...this is the only fight where miguel is thought of as a slow fighter...bitch please...pac is not that much faster than a 38 year old mosley...be realistic...this guy is bad news for manny, miguel cotto would be the P4P king had he not been cheated by margarito and has faced stronger opposition than that coming on nov 14
lol what you want him to be hitting the bag fast lol what does that proove??? he is training.. just in case the training he is doing is for power and accuracy. he is doing well. no meed for the spped in training it wouldnt proove much. he has always trained that way and like 90%of boxers do.. cotto haters always have something negative to say dammm yall funny
let their fists do the talking on november 14th!!!
i dont think cotto can deal with manny`s speed and footwork, he`ll be in trouble cause he havent fought a fighter like manny.
Manny Pacquiao has speed, power, accuracy, and endurance. He has all the qualities of a great legendary boxer.
first of all Manny isnt a boxer is a brawler and yes hes fast but out of orther. Cotto looks slow here because he is training how to KO Manny if any of u know something about boxing u know that Manny cant handle upper s like that
Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson,Sugar Ray Leonard,Floyd Mayweather Jr., thinks that Manny will win this fight and these boxers that I mentioned for sure knows something about boxing.
If he trains like this, lightning will strike him come Nov 14. Manny is a humble boxer with the smarts like Ali in the ring. He keeps on improving at the prime age of 30. Pacman is way faster and hits harder than Margarito...simple logic, strategy, stamina
and speed will favor Pacman. History proves it.
look at how slow Cotto is! Manny's going to bend him over!
