Miguel Cotto wins over Michael Jennings - At the start of the fight, the Cotto crowd in Madison Square Garden booed the British national anthem, which is reminiscent of Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather fight, but in reverse. The booing crowd is perhaps of the Puerto Rican population which has sizable demographics in New York. The betting lines is 13 to 1 in favor of Cotto.

The Cotto vs Jennings Bout is a wipe out, with Cotto winning all the rounds. Cotto is like a bull that keeps coming forward targeting Jennings body all throughout. Jennings did try to break through Cotto, but most of his punches are ineffectual against Cotto's defense and offense.

Over and over, Cotto sent Jennings back with body shots. By the 4th round, Jennings finally succumb, Cotto knocking him down twice. He survived the round with a nose bleed, but in the next round, Cotto trapped him the corner, and knocked him down once again. The referee counted up to 10, as Jennings barely was able to beat the count. The referee then decide to stop the fight.

    I have to say that Jennings wasn't bad although Cotto is my favourite boxer. Miguel Cotto has the power in his punches which destroy everyone!
