Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao: Manny and Ricky wants it

Manny Pacquiao said he would love to fight Ricky Hatton in Britain. “I want to come to the UK because I've never been there, I want to see the place,” Pacquiao, who has been training with the rising British boxing talent Amir Khan in Hollywood, said. “I'd like to fight in front of a big crowd. I know it would be a great, great fight if it were to happen. I'm very comfortable at 140lb so I would be OK to fight Ricky.”

“When I was told I would be fighting on December 6, I was originally told I would be fighting Ricky,” Pacquiao said. “But now it's Oscar. I wasn't disappointed because I know I have a lot of time to have that fight.”

Meanwhile, Hatton is awaiting the result of the Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya bout, and said he would love to fight whoever the winner of the fight.

"I think it would be a very interesting fight," said the former heavyweight champion, the British Lennox Lewis said. "They have to agree on what weight they want to come in at, but obviously the fans would love to see a fight like that."

Mayweather Sr., Hatton's Trainer, concurs, saying would love to see the fight come true: "There's no question about it, 'Pacman' is the pefect match for Ricky, I'd love to see that fight. But I don't see Pacquiao beating Oscar."

    Ricky Hatton/"Dirty Fighter" vs. Manny Pacquiao/"Hard Worker" = Great fight ending in a defeat of Hatton. Sorry Hatton fans. Manny was never babied like how Hattons parents are. He lived a harsh life in the Philippines. When he fights he fights to get out of the ghetto. Ricky and Manny both fight for there country, but Manny gives back and Hatton does what? Manny will fight to the end with Hatton. Lets see if Hatton can keep up.

    don't underestimate the opponent. Manny will have to fight his best tactical style while waiting to pound the hell out of hattons face. hatton hasn't faced an opponent like manny. ricky should have killed sorry pretty boy malagnagi but didn't have the killer instict or the power to dominate. so if manny follows his gameplan it should be a tko or manny by decision.     I think it will be a close fight, but i see hatton taking the fight in the late rounds. Pacquiao may have more experience and hell i'll even say more speed, but he has many weaknesses, he walks right into punches and lets himself get hit, i dont think manny can take too many of hattons body blows and will eventually be defeated. either way both fighters are great and everyone should shut their fucking mouth with all these racial comments.

    Can we just stop all the racism please. For the Brits, you need to stop being negative. Give credit when credit is due. Hatton lost so just accept it, there's no doubt Hatton is a good fighter I'll admit that. But PacMan is still raising to the top, so now we all just gotta wait and hope for Mayweather and Pacquiao fight!

    1. you don't know the guy and you don't have the right to judge him.
    2. manny has been a good citizen and a good filipino example
    3. manny gives his donation to churches and hospitals here in the philippines
    4. manny has helped more than 600,000 families all around our beautiful tropical country.
    5. manny is such a good citizen he donated 20 dialysis machines at his province which cost $15,000 each!

    to all pacquiao fans, Pac man 2 losses in his early career are lack of balance nutrition. He does not have a dietician in his team before, Now that he have a complete team doctor,dietician and adviser in his team he is in proper diet every time he fight.Keep up your down to earth attitude Manny.
