De La Hoya vs Pacquiao New York Press Conference was the first of a six-city tour to promote the Dream Match. Pacquiao stayed at the Le Parker Meridien Hotel, a near Central Park.

New York played host to what is represents as the year’s largest fight as boxing’s strongest figures declared their encounter below the Statue of Liberty on Wednesday.

In Front a big crowd that included scores of Filipinos who were ferried to the famed New York landmark, Manny Pacquiao said he shall “fight with all my heart and give everything I can” to succeed against Oscar De La Hoya, who towers over him in height.

“I think I have what it takes to win the biggest fight of my life,” Pacquiao said.

De La Hoya likewise received the chance to fight Pacquiao.

“Manny Pacquiao is considered the best fighter in boxing today and I always want to fight the best,” said De La Hoya. “I’m glad we were able to make this fight happen because while Pacquiao is at the pinnacle of his success and has defeated all of the fighters he has faced. I’m going to show the world that it stops with me.”
