Juan Manuel Marquez: We came well prepared, we knew what we have to do. We wanted to fight for the Mexican people. I love them, thank you.

Interviewer: Juan, you said, one of the reasons you move up is you chasing Manny Pacquiao, can you make a statement tonight here tonight.

Juan Manuel Marquez: Exactly, we move up to get Pacquiao. This was a beautiful location. That's what we want but we'll fight anybody who my promoters wants.

Interviewer: Do you believe that you beat the best lightweight in the world.

Juan Manuel Marquez: Yes, absolutely, he was the best lightweight. We knew what we have to do, we fought for the Mexican people, we're so happy. The best fighter before is Mayweather, but I'm now the best.
