Transcript of Pacquiao talking to Juan Manuel Marquez during the “Invasion – Philippines vs The World” fight card at the Araneta Coliseum.

Marquez walked up to Pacquiao at the fight venue of WBO champion Gerry Penalosa. Both of them has just arrived from a trip abroad. Golden Boy Promotions and ABS-CBN collaborated to bring Marquez as a special guest on the event. Marquez received a standing ovation from fans, some even posed for pictures with him. Reporter Dyan Castillejo is the moderator of their talk.

The conversation started with Marquez shaking Pacquiao hands.

Comedian: Welcome to the Philippines

Marquez: Thank you very much.

Reporter: Juan Manuel, what would you like to say to...

Marquez: I, I feel very happy to stay here first, and I, I want the rematch. Because, because he knows I, I won the fight. Yeah.

Reporter: What can you say about that Manny?

Pacquiao: Uhm, what I can say is... (crowd cheering) what I can say is, uh, you know uh, it depends on uh, how's the negotiations going, and uhm, there's no problem to me about the rematch. Anytime.

Marquez: Many, many people thinks eh, I won the fight. Not only in Mexico, but here, in England, in, in Japan, and around the world. Yes.

Pacquiao: Well that's uh, part of the game. You know there's a loser, and there's a winner. But uh, you know, I think uhm, you know uhm, I think I'm lucky on that night that I win. I await a rematch so anytime...

Reporter: Anytime, right now... (to Marquez) you're asking him for a rematch.

Marquez: Yes, Yes.

Comedian: Swing bout (laughs)... how about a swing bout?

Marquez: Yeah, yeah, whenever (laughs).

Pacquiao: (laughs, lighty punch the comedian in the gut)

Pacquiao: Uhm, there's no problem and it depends on how the negotiation going. And it depends on my, the promoters, uhm, negotiation. And for me I'm a fighter and just my job is to, to get ready and to get in shape and to fight in the ring.

Reporter: But if he ask you, you, would you like fight him again?

Pacquiao: No problem, anytime. Uh...

Marquez: Sign, sign, just sign it... (Smiles)

Pacquiao: (Smiles)

Comedian: (Laughs)

Marquez: Let's do again. Let's do again for the people. Let's do again for the people.

Reporter: When, when would you like to fight?

Marquez: September, October...

Their talk ended with Marquez shaking Pacquiao hands. Pacquiao kept his composure in treating a special guest to his country. Marquez was very happy that he was invited and was grateful for the warmth of Filipino hospitality.
