"Good afternoon everybody. First I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity and the strength everyday. I would to thank to all the sponsor for this fight. And uh, to the promotor Top Rank Promotions and Golden Boy and uh MP Promotion. Without them, we would not have happen in this fight."

"I would like to thanks my wife (coughs). She's very uh, very supportive in my boxing career, and I'm very that uhm, I, I see a lot of Filipino people who came here to watch the fight this coming Saturday. And uh, it would be great fight on Saturday because Marquez he trained hard, and uh, you know, he won't let his countrymen down. And uhm, me too, I don't want ot disappoint my countrymen, Filipino people, especially this time, I need to win this fight because fight would be the key to uh, to the Filipino people uh, for the Filipino people, for the unity."

"You know uh, and thank you for the people who love boxing, not only uh, Mexican and uh, Filipino people, but to all people who love boxing. What I'm trying to do is not only for myself, but to all the people who love boxing, I want them to be satisfied, satisfied on my performance on Saturday fight. And I prepare myself very hard for a war for three months, and uh, everybody said that I don't like, I don't like talking outside of the ring, I talk in the ring, and uh, I prepare myself very careful for this fight.
