It was the coming to America fight for Manny Pacquiao. Shown at HBO, he was a replacement fighter for Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, who was then the IBF super bantamweight champion. It also started a lifelong partnership with his then new coach Freddie Roach who took the fight in just two weeks. The fight was over the the middle of the rounds, making Pacquiao the new champion.
